RRP SPRINT CUP PENALTIES

THERE WILL BE NO CAUTION REVIEWS FOR THE 2010A SEASON IN THE RRP SPRINT CUP SERIES.

RRP PROTEST PENALTY POINTS - ALL SERIES

A DRIVER MAY PROTEST ANOTHER DRIVER(S) THAT HE FEELS HAS COMMITED ONE OR MORE OF THE FOLLOWING INFRACTIONS.
IF MORE THAN ONE DRIVER IS PROTESTED OR MORE THAN ONE INFRACTION IS PROTESTED, EACH ONE MUST BE PROTESTED SEPERATLY.
IF THE PROTEST IS LOST, THE PROTESTING DRIVER WILL RECEIVE 15 PENALTY POINTS

25 PENALTY PONITS FOR EXCEEDING PIT ROAD SPEED FROM THE FIRST LINE ENTERING THE PITS FOR A DURATION OF TWO PIT STALLS.
25 PENALTY POINTS IF THE LEADER IS TOO FAST OR SLOW ON ANY START OR RESTART.
25 PENALTY POINTS FOR A FLYING START.
25 PENALTY POINTS FOR BRAKE CHECKING.
75 PENALTY POINTS FOR FLAMING OR FIGHTING BY OPEN CHAT, PRIVATE CHAT OR TEAMSPEAK.
25 PENALTY POINTS FOR ADVANCING YOUR POSITION TO THE LEFT ON A START OR RESTART.
25 PENALTY POINTS FOR ADVANCING YOUR POSITION UNDER CAUTION.
25 PENALTY POINTS FOR BLOCKING.
50 PENALTY POINTS FOR OVERLY AGGRESSIVE, RECKLESS DRIVING WITH NO RESPECT FOR OTHER DRIVERS.

TO PROTEST, SEND BOTH CUP SERIES ADMINS A EMAIL WITH THE DRIVERS NAME YOU ARE PROTESTING, THE INFRACTION & THE LAP OF THE INFRACTION.
ALL DECSIONS ARE FINAL.

Aug 16th, 2009  -  New Rules

RRP SPRINT CUP PENALTIES

ONLY CAUTIONS WILL BE REVIEWED.
BOTH CUP ADMINS WILL REVEIW THE REPLAYS AND EACH MAKE A CALL AT WHO WAS AT FAULT ( IF ANYONE ) AT BRINGING OUT THE CAUTION. THEN THEY WILL COMPARE CALLS AND IF THE CALLS WERE THE SAME, THAT DRIVER WILL RECEIVE THE PENALTY POINTS. IF THE CALLS ARE DIFFERENT, IT WILL BE DETERMINED A RACING DEAL AND THERE WILL BE NO PENALTY.
THE PENALTY FOR CAUSING A CAUTION WILL BE 15 POINTS.
IF A DRIVER RECEIVES A TOTAL OF 75  PENALTY ( CAUTION OR PROTEST )POINTS IN ANY A,B OR C SEASON, THAT WILL RESULT IN A ONE RACE SUSPENSION. AFTER THE SUSPENSION IS SERVERED THAT DRIVERS POINTS WILL BE RESET TO 30 PENALTY POINTS.
PENALTY POINTS ARE FINAL AND MAY NOT BE PROTESTED.

PITTING UNDER GREEN - ALL SERIES
DRIVERS MUST SIGNAL BY VOICE OR AUTO CHAT INTENTIONS TO PIT ONE HALF LAP BEFORE PITTING. IF A DRIVER SIGNALS TO PIT AND FAILS TO DO SO, THIS WILL BE DEEMED FAKE PITTING UNDER GREEN.
IF BY ACCIDENT A DRIVERS SIGNALS TO PIT, THEY MUST THEN SIGNAL "EXITING PITS" IMMEDIATELY. IF YOU SIGNAL BY VOICE PLEASE SPEAK SLOW & CLEAR SO OTHER DRIVERS HEAR & UNDERSTAND YOUR INTENTIONS.
IN THE CUP SERIES ONLY, DRIVRS DO NOT HAVE TO SIGNAL WHEN PITTING UNDER GREEN, BUT DRIVERS MAY DO SO IF THEY WANT TO.

EXITING THE PITS - ALL SERIES
ALL DRIVERS MUST SIGNAL "EXITING PITS" WHEN GOING BACK ONTO THE TRACK, UNDER GREEN & UNDER YELLOW.
IN THE CUP SERIES ONLY, DRIVRS DO NOT HAVE TO SIGNAL WHEN EXITING THE PITS UNDER GREEN OR CAUTION, BUT DRIVERS MAY DO SO IF THEY WANT TO.

UNDER CAUTION - ALL SERIES
IF YOU ARE THE LEADER WHEN THE CAUTION COMES OUT, PLEASE ANNOUNCE OVER TEAMSPEAK WHEN YOU CROSS THE START/FINISH LINE AND TAKE THE CAUTION. PLEASE BE SLOWED DOWN TO PACE SPEED BY THE MIDDLE OF TURNS 1 & 2 TO PICK UP THE PACE CAR, GOING TOO FAR CAN MESS THINGS UP FOR SOME WHEN TRYING TO PIT.
UNDER CAUTION THE MAXIMUM DISTANCE BETWEEN CARS DURING PACE LAPS IS .3
ALL CARS MUST STAGGER LOW / HIGH UNTIL ONE LAP TO GO GREEN
PLEASE KEEP THE CHAT DOWN FOR THE FIRST TWO CAUTION LAPS SO EVERYONE CAN HEAR THEIR SPOTTERS. DISCUSS WHAT HAPPENED LATER.

STARTS & RESTARTS - ALL SERIES
ALL STARTS & RESTARTS WILL BE DOUBLE FILE, WITH LAPPED CARS LINING UP ON THE INSIDE.
ON ALL STARTS, POSITIONS 1 & 2 MUST MAINTAIN STEADY PACE SPEED (THE SPEED OF THE PACE CAR ) UNTIL THE GREEN FLAG IS SHOWN.
WHEN THE GREEN FLAG COMES OUT YOU MAY ONLY PASS TO THE RIGHT BEFORE THE START/FINISH LINE.
ON THE START IF YOU DROP OUT OF LINE TO THE LEFT YOU MAY NOT ADVANCE YOUR POSTION. THIS MEANS YOU MUST STAY BEHIND THE CAR IN FRONT OF YOU UNTIL THE START/FINISH LINE.
PASSING ON THE FIRST LAP IS ALLOWED, BUT OVER AGGRESSIVE MOVES WILL NOT BE TOLERATED
RESTARTS WITH TEN OR LESS LAPS TO GO, ALL LAPPED CARS MUST DRIVE THROUGH THE PITS ON THE THIRD PACE LAP, AND LINE UP SINGLE FILE AT THE END OF THE LEAD LAP CARS.
